Rhenus Midgard in Wilhelmshaven takes delivery of the largest single load of coal in the history of German
12. September 2014/
The Bulk Terminal Wilhelmshaven (BTW) is currently unloading the largest load of coal ever delivered to a German seaport. 172,488 tonnes of the fuel arrived at the bulk terminal operated by Rhenus Midgard from South America on board the Capesize vessel “Anangel Seafarer” on Thursday. The facility with its modern technology is able to unload this quantity from the cargo ship in just three days; the volume is the equivalent of about a thousand times the weight of a classic large steam locomotive.
